What Stirs in the Dark
There’s something about October that makes everything feel a little closer to the surface. The air changes. The light gets thinner. The woods get quieter. Evenings feel different.
It’s the time of year when people talk about the veil thinning, intuition getting louder, and old energy rising up to be noticed. Whether you take that literally or not, I think there’s something to it.
We all have things that live beneath the surface.
Old fears. Old grief. Beliefs we’ve carried for so long they almost feel like facts. Patterns that show up before we even realize we’re repeating them.
Sometimes they stay quiet. Sometimes they don’t.
October feels like a good time to pay attention to what’s stirring.
What keeps circling back for you? What feels heavy for no obvious reason? What part of you is asking to be seen instead of pushed back down?
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is notice what’s been hiding in the shadows and get curious about why it’s still there.
Not everything in the dark is something to fear. Sometimes it’s just something waiting to be understood.
